Rfid Card
Rfid card is applying the rfid technology for smart card. Radio frequency identification, or RFID, is the generic term for digital technologies that apply radio waves to automatically identify people or objects. There are several ways of smart identification, but the most popular is to store a serial number or other information that identifies a person or object, on a microchip that is attached to an antenna. The antenna enables the chip to transmit the smart identification information to a reader, while the reader converts the radio waves reflected back from the RFID tag into digital information that can then be passed on to computers that can make use of it. The chip and the antenna together are called as RFID transponder or an RFID tag.
Unlike contact cards,Contactless smart cards apply an embedded antenna that is attached to the chip to transfer information stored in the chip's memory to a remote computer. Contactless cards do not have to be inserted into a card acceptor device. They need only be delivered within range of a radio frequency acceptor to read and store information in the chip. The operation range is normally from about 2.5" to 3.9" (63.5mm to 99.06mm) .
Different rfid vendor have their own encoding system such as mifare, legic, hitag. As a smart card manufacturer, we can encoding the card for you, or you can do it on you side as you prefer. All of these cards operate at 13.56MHz, and can read ranges from 10cm to 1 meet.
RFID is a proven technology that's very popular around corporations for various commercial applications. We can supply high quality and best price RFID cards to relieve your concern about the cost so that you can supply good price RFID cards to your dear customer, allowing them to take advantage of the effectiveness and durability it offer. Rfid cards are widely applied in nearly all industry and organizations for different applications.
Hybrid Cards
Hybrid cards refer to one single smart card that contain two or more embedded chip technologies such as a contactless smart chip along with a contact smart chip, and/or a proximity chip. The contactless chip typically used in applications demanding quick response and short transaction times. The contact chip is typically used in applications demanding higher levels of security. The two individual chip components are not connected to each other although they share space in a single same card.
Hybrid cards offer a unique solution for updating your existing badging system. We can manufacture hybrid cards to accommodate your different needs.
Proximity Cards
Proximity cards, also named as "prox cards", communicate through an embedded antenna to a remote receiver just like contactless smart cards . Compared to smart cards, prox cards are read-only devices, that means can not write information again on to the card's chip. Prox cards generally have a greater range of operation than smart cards - from 2.5" to 20" (63.5mm to 508mm), but have smaller amount of information stored in the prox cards.
Prox cards grows in great popularity because of the convenience they offer in digital security, smart identification, and access control applications, especially key access control. If an company want to have a a convenient ID badge system with an access control card, proximity cards is highly recommended. Proximity cards have RFID chips or an embedded antenna that simply requires you to wave the card in front of a reader to recognize and gain access, compared to the magnetic stripe cards, it is easy and the card last longer.
